Monochrome colouring is a simple way to create a finished design using just one colour. The artwork already contains bold black areas, so you only need to add your chosen colour to the marked white spaces and let the contrast do the rest.

Small hearts mark the white areas intended for colouring. They act as a simple visual guide so you can quickly see the areas you need to work with.

Not at all. The books are designed to be coloured using just one black marker.

Acrylic markers are a great choice for the bold monochrome designs. A dual-tip acrylic marker, with a brush tip at one end and a fine tip at the other, works especially well — the brush tip is useful for larger open areas, while the fine tip helps with smaller or more intricate spaces. If you use other types of pens or markers, place a backing sheet behind the page first to help protect the page underneath, and always test unfamiliar markers before you begin.

Each Miss Dolly Studios colouring book contains 40 single-sided monochrome designs.

Miss Dolly Studios books use a compact 210mm × 180mm format, making them comfortable to use at home while still being easy to take along for a creative escape.

Yes. Each colouring design is presented single-sided, giving every illustration its own page.

Yes. The bold structure, clear colourable areas and small heart markers make the books easy to begin, while the designs still offer plenty of character and detail for more experienced colourists.

Both editions contain the same 40 monochrome colouring designs. The Studio Edition uses wire-O binding and 170 gsm uncoated paper, while the Amazon Edition is a perfect-bound paperback printed on Standard Amazon white paper (approx. 80–90 gsm).

Choose the Studio Edition if you prefer a wire-O book that opens flatter and heavier paper. Choose the Amazon Edition if you prefer the convenience of ordering through Amazon in a familiar paperback format.

No. The creative content is the same in both editions. The main differences are the binding, paper and how the books are supplied.

Purchase options are shown on each individual Book page. Amazon Editions are purchased through Amazon, while Studio Editions can be ordered directly from Miss Dolly Studios.

Delivery costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your destination, the number of books in your order and the available delivery services. Where available, you’ll be able to choose from different delivery options before completing your purchase.

Yes. Studio Editions can be shipped internationally from the UK. Enter your delivery address at checkout to see the available delivery services and current postage costs for your location.

Amazon Edition availability may vary by marketplace and is handled directly by Amazon.

Studio Editions are printed and fulfilled for Miss Dolly Studios by BookVault in the United Kingdom. They are then dispatched directly to you using the delivery service selected at checkout.

Please contact us at hello@missdollystudios.com as soon as possible after delivery, ideally within 3 working days. Keep the book and its packaging and, where possible, send us clear photographs of the packaging, shipping label and any damage.

Contacting us quickly helps us raise the issue promptly with our printing and fulfilment partner. This requested timeframe does not affect your statutory rights.

Yes. If you are a UK consumer who purchased from us online, you normally have 14 days after receiving your order to tell us you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return it.

Email hello@missdollystudios.com with your name and order number before returning anything. If your order has not yet been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible and we may be able to stop it before it is sent.

You may inspect a book as you reasonably would in a shop. However, colouring, marking, cutting out or removing pages goes beyond normal inspection and may significantly reduce the book's value.

If a returned book has been used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we may reduce the refund to reflect the resulting loss in value.

For a normal change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the return postage.

If your book is faulty, damaged, not as described or you received the wrong item, please contact us first. We will provide the appropriate instructions and you will not be expected to bear reasonable return costs where the problem is our responsibility.

Studio Edition books are printed to order rather than held in stock. Printing and processing can take around two weeks before your order is dispatched. You’ll receive shipping information once your order is on its way.
